How to Play Tetris

🎯 Objective

Fit falling tetrominoes to complete horizontal lines. Completed lines vanish and earn points. The game ends when the stack reaches the top.

⌨️ Controls (Desktop)

  • Move Left

    Press ←

  • Move Right

    Press →

  • Soft Drop

    Press ↓ to drop faster

  • Rotate

    Press ↑ to rotate

  • Focus Canvas

    Click inside the game area if keys don’t respond.

💡 Tips

Keep a flat stack, leave a one-block column for the long I-piece, and avoid “overhangs” unless you plan a T-spin. Use soft drops to position precisely.
